Please join us for APA’s 2024 Mini convention on antisemitism called “Never Again” in Seattle, August 8-10. Building on an unexpectedly successful program last year, we are expanding with proposed titles and speakers from clinical, advocacy, research and educational areas. Some of these include: The Trauma of Indigenous People: JIMENA: Jews from the Middle East and North Africa; The Psychology of Antisemitism: A Scientific Research Agenda; Fighting Antisemitism: Current Approaches and Psychological Insights; Development of a Theory and Measurement of Hatred: Cognitive Dimensions Useful in Inoculating and Remediating People from a Deadly Contagious Disease, and a CE called Intervention for Treating Jewish Patients’ Trauma from Antisemitism & War. We will also have some community-building cultural events like candle-lighting and foods, music and dance from Mizrachi, Sephardic and Ashkenazi cultures.
