Antisemitism remains a more critical issue than ever on college campuses, leaving Jewish students and staff alike especially vulnerable. Jewish students are feeling less safe on campus, which leads to negative side effects like worsening academic performance and higher transfer rates. Additionally, Jewish therapy clients are increasingly reporting that antisemitism is a barrier to accessing treatment (McKay & Koppelman White, 2025). This 90-minute webinar will provide an in-depth exploration of the unique experiences of Jewish college students in today’s university environment. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how antisemitism affects the mental health of Jewish students and will learn actionable strategies for allyship to foster a safer and more supportive campus community- not just for Jewish students, but for all university members.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify three examples of how antisemitism can manifest on college campuses.
  2. Describe five potential impacts of college antisemitism on the mental health of Jewish campus community members.
  3. Identify three effective responses and tools to address antisemitism within university settings.
