The Association of Jewish Psychologists is inviting you to the 2025 Commemoration of the October 7th 2023 massacre, the bloodiest in Israel’s history and the deadliest for Jews since the Holocaust.
As we commemorate, we continue to mourn those who have died and those who are still in Hamas captivity. Tremendous suffering continues in both Israel and Palestine and we look forward to a day when swords can become plowshares and flowers can once again grow in fertile fields.
We remember and highlight Jewish survival and resilience and we hope for a future in which tyrants are diminished and the light of democracy and freedom brilliantly shines.
We will be honored to be joined by our special guests:
David Raskin, Ph.D., Professor of Contemporary Art History at the Art Institute of Chicago
David will talk about the Jitish Kallat “Call for World Peace” art installation on the staircase of the Art Institute, that was installed immediately following October 7th.
